Event Details

Screening of “Waiting for Superman”

Americans for Prosperity Foundation will be hosting a brief policy discussion about school choice and screening of Waiting for Superman for National School Choice Week (January 22 – 28) tomorrow at the Texas Capitol.

Waiting for "Superman" is a 2010 documentary film from director Davis Guggenheim and producer Lesley Chilcott that analyzes the failures of American public education by following several students through the educational system, hoping to be selected in a lottery for acceptance into charter schools.

Restoring American Exceptionalism is not a Republican issue or a Democrat issue. It’s an American issue –our future depends on it.
